Residual Waste is treated through our Mechanical Biological Treatment process, where incompatible and hazardous materials are removed, recyclate and combustible material recovered and the organics fraction passed through a biological drying process to reduce its mass prior to final treatment.

Compost like output recovered

The compost-like output recovered is sent to other companies for further processing in order to meet Animal By-Product Regulations (ABPR) to ensure there is no harmful bacteria present. Following this final part of the process, the compost-like output will then be used for land restoration projects such as old quarries.
